Flowtech Raptor mufflers
Well the old Raptors that I grew to like lasted almost 2 whole years. I took them out of the box in July 2013 and in February of 2015 the end cap has rusted out and blown out. I admit that my infrequent short trips are hard on mufflers but I don't recall having to replace a muffler so soon. The mufflers before that only lasted me 2 years too but they were probably already a year old when I bought the truck. I hope some welded aluminum Thrush will last longer than that. I have been wanting to try them for a long time.
I didn't like the Raptors at first because they were too quiet for me. They did have a nice bark when I stepped on it so I grew to like them. These cheap mufflers would probably last longer if somebody actually drives their vehicle on longer daily drives to burn the moisture out of them. I just shared this to remind people that cheaply made mufflers sure don't last long and are false economy. Nothing will ever outlast a glasspack, that's why they are illegal.

Re: Flowtech Raptor mufflers
State of Maine.... Try a cheap turbo muffler on a daily driver, every year.
