What shoulder belts are the best for our year trucks?

I currently have no belts in my farm truck and that scares the heck out of me. Our plan is to drive it in this years hot rod power tour and I would like to by and install some good shoulder belts.

From your experience what are the best ones to use. I have read a lot on these and there seems to be a lot of options but no real standout for the number one recommendation.

Any help,is appreciated.

I got mine from Morris.

Installation was simple and straight forward. Here's a pic.

Thumbs up Re: What shoulder belts are the best for our year trucks?

I just replied in the other thread but I used late model belts in mine. I think they are great. They are cheap also at LQ yards. $8.00 for each side. The first picture was when I was swapping the interior out. I'm not going to swear to it but I know the inside buckles are factory holes. The drivers side is to I think. The passenger side may not be.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

You say late model, are those 88-98? looks like they work out well. One issue with using other belts is finding a color that works with OEM. There are decent colors offered in the aircraft buckle design sold by places like Speedway Motors. Not sure the name of the company, maybe it's Morris. They look like '67 belts if you paint them. They also offer that later GM buckle style

I got 3 set's when I got my seats out of the 1999 Tahoe. The grey ones I got out of Tahoes. I got another red set out of a truck of the same year. LQ yards around here charge $16.00 for each side. I like to have extra's in case one stops working!
