69 4x4 blazer
Over 15 years ago I saw this blazer in a back yard, stopped and ask if the owner would sell, got shot down and many times since then. As time has passed by and things change in our lives the owner walked into my store today and ask if I was still interested in the blazer, I told him that nothing had changed and I still wanted it, however after 15 years of setting under a pine tree I wanted to check it out. So after work I went over and this is what I found,,,,,
Rocker is bad on pas.side and there's rust in the right upper corner of the windshield frame other than that its pretty solid. Factory A/C, tow hooks, trailor hitch, single top he has some nos parts that go with it. 350/350 combo. Was running when parked many years ago,lol So what do yall think???

Re: 69 4x4 blazer
From what I've seen online and with the shape of this blazer I feel the price is fair. I'm going for it, ofcourse I'm going 2wd drive with it also, so there's gonna be some 4x4 goodies for sale...

Re: 69 4x4 blazer
It sure looks like a decent start.
You probably already know this, but just in case you don't, those aren't factory tow hooks.

Re: 69 4x4 blazer
You can kind of see factory tow hooks on this truck. They are huge.

The most I would pay is 4,000, but would be more comfortable at 3,000.

Re: 69 4x4 blazer
I was gonna say more along the lines of $1-2g max. As it's a project and has been sitting a long time and you want to make it a 2wd, you need to be into for a lot less. Check the bed and underside of the body real well for rust as it hides in places on these lol You can find good rust free windshield frames usually around $150-300 to put on if this one is toast.

Re: 69 4x4 blazer
Id keep the 4x4 stuff so if you ever sell it the next owner can put it back since it is the first year and only 4900 or so were made. I do realize not everybody has room to keep everything.

Re: 69 4x4 blazer
Nah they want be another owner after I finish the blazer, I've wanted this blazer for along time, gonna sell the 4x4 frame with motor and trans and sell off the fleetside bed and cab of the truck and what ever sheetmetal the blazer don't need. Gonna cut the swb truck frame and use it for the blazer, the frame already has all the goodies on it that I would want to go with on the blazer.
