What size are deez nuts

I need to take the nuts on the ubolts on the rear end off to install an ece super track bar. I tried a 1" & a 1 1/8 and neither fit so I need to go shopping tomorrow, I assume it will be a 1 1/16 but would like to know for sure. Anyone know right off the top of their head?

Well if 1 inch is too small and 1-1/8 is too large then 1-1/16 will be the fit. did mine a long time ago can't remember off the top of my head

18" crescent wrench and a cheater bar to take them off and then a 3/4" torque wrench that will go to 150 foot pounds to torque them back up.

3/4 torque wrench to 150!!!! 1/2 at 235 is more like it. 3/4 should be 250 to 600

I have a broken 1 1/16" x 1/2" drive Socket you can have! I had to use a 3/4" drive and a long cheater. Them things are tough!

Re: What size are deez nuts

1 1/16" is correct. I know because I had to go buy the socket.

Re: What size are deez nuts

yep that is correct, went and bought a impact socket today. will start the job after I get home from the dentist tomorrow morning. hope that I am not getting into something over my head. after the install I will have to go get my exhaust modified cause the new track bar appears that is is going to hit it...
