Building my c10 since I was 15 and in need of some advice

Hello fellas,

I am the proud owner of a 68 c10 stepside with a SBC 350 and a muncie 4-spd.
I have access to both a edelbrock performer intake and a stock z28 aluminum intake manifold. I also have headers a comp cam XE-274 and a edelbrock 600cfm electric choke carburator. Any suggestions on which intake to use would be greatly appreciated.

Ben

I don't think you will see a huge difference in the intake choice but I would use the Eddy, are they both setup for the same style carb, a lot of the Z intakes take only a factory Gm carb while the Edel is most common for their carb base but can come in the Gm style also. Any pic's of intakes.

Yes, pics please. The Z/28 intake is more comparable to the Performer RPM and should be a standard square bore pattern.

With stock cam and Edelbrock Carb, the Performer intake should/would be your best choice.

Buy a performer, and put the z28 intake on Ebay. You will be $ ahead.
