New guy from San Diego

Just wanted to share some pics of my truck and say hi from San Diego! been reading forums since September and all i can say is that you all have answered every question i ever had about my truck! The amount of experience and knowledge here is absolutely irreplaceable!! Thank YOU!!

1969 C-10 swb
ZZ502/TH350/10 bolt 8.5" rear (early to mid 70's chevelle??, camaro??, unsure cant find readable numbers)
drop spindles (Unsure of coil drop springs front and back size)
15x8 15x10 Crager SS
Seats: 1981 Lincoln Continental ( just picked up bench seat, in process of restoring)
Steering Column: Have no idea, thinking late 80's early 90's truck tilt?

Basically real fast description, bought truck off my uncle in September, and all i have done is rewire engine compartment, fuel relay and pump , new in cab gas tank,100 amp powermaster alternator and retrosound radio. Truck runs like a bat out of hell, more to come!

NAVY CHIEF, NAVY PRIDE!!

Welcome Chief, and thank you for your service to our country!

Stunning truck and that ZZ502...I know that puts a smile on your face!

Good to have you here. What are your short term plans with the truck?

Thank you guys! Short term list includes:

Long term goals:

just to name a few, been restoring a 68 cougar for 20 years, and yes it never ends(just sold it to my best friend, can't have 2, I'll be divorced...lol)

Unhappy Re: New guy from San Diego

Welcome Chief.

My son just retired from the Navy after putting in 20. Me, I was on the other side of the fence in bootcamp. Will not say "the better side, just the other side".

Glad to have you and your beautiful truck as part of the group.

I will do that. He got out and moved to Nebraska (I know right?) about 3 months ago. Just in time for the wonderful weather to set in. Got a killer job on the railroad, and just bought a house. All is well.

Already talking about starting him a truck build next year once he is all settled in.

Hello John!

Welcome to the club from San Diego. Just moved here from the east coast. When I get my '69 here from Phoenix in the next month or so we will have to meet up. Great looking truck you have there.
