I have a 71' gmc seirra granada and I'm wondering if there is any other places in the body the vin is stamped other than the glove box door the door jam and the sticker on the door.

Re: vin number locations?
That's an interesting question, why are you asking?

Re: vin number locations?
It's on a 86' frame. I was hoping there is another spot on the body itself

Re: vin number locations?
No other spot on the body. You can check for a build sheet. They have been found under the carpet, glued between the cab and the bed, and most commonly behind or under the seat in the seat springs.

Re: vin number locations?
Some Oshawa built trucks have a partial VIN stamped near the heater opening.
