consequenses for using cheap drop spindles
Ive seen 2in drop spindles for 150ish on ebay...whats the diffrence in paying 150 more for name brand..is it the name brand or does it really make a diffrence as in quality..any advice would be greatly appreciated

Yes, there are differences. From engineering/geometry to the material itself. The vendor (offshore) can only supply a product so much cheaper by cutting alot of little corners...which adds up to a substandard product, especially if we're talking about AIM/ChassisTech. Spindles are the one thing you should spend good money on, considering a casting failure could have deadly consequences. You can't see inside the spindle or have any way of knowing exactly what grade of ductile iron they used, so why chance it? I have found McGaughy's to be very well engineered, high quality and problem free.
