CL find resto-mod 69 Chevy short step K10
Not mine - looks clean thought someone here may be interested. Seller has no documentation of original build configuration (i.e. SPID gone, no build sheet). An original 6-cyl truck: http://spokane.craigslist.org/cto/4910789136.html

Re: CL find resto-mod 69 Chevy short step K10
Clean looking truck and if it is in good shape, not too bad for the $$. As long as you know going in that you know what you are getting (just a clean truck with no real documentation).
I found after buying my truck that it came as a fleet-side not as it is now, a step-side. Not too big of a deal because I like both and the $$ was not so high that it really matters.

I'm close to that $ all day long and not near done with my swb 4x4 restore. Nice looking truck! I'd snag it (if) I was on the hunt.

For the asking price it seems like a very decent deal and if the cab VIN matches the frame VIN you've at least got a true "K" truck. I'd want to get the logos off the doors.

Re: CL find resto-mod 69 Chevy short step K10
yep, me too Pete - bye bye logos, then I'd drop it (back to original ride height), ditch the rallies and stick on the steelies and have fun. NICE truck. Short step K10s have a great look to them. Can't haul much, but a very fun truck to have. I wonder if he'd do a package deal with that 57 gasser in the ad... Price is too high for me - but it is certainly worth it if it's what you're looking for. Would be hard to do that for less than the asking price. Especially cool if a matching # k10.

Re: CL find resto-mod 69 Chevy short step K10
Vin number starts with "KE1"
k= 4wd E= v8 engine 1= half ton Nice truck. I'm sure you'd have a lot more than that invested if you tried to duplicate it, if you could even find a k10 swb to start with! |

Re: CL find resto-mod 69 Chevy short step K10
Quite a few SWB K10's out this way for sale recently and that truck is priced OK. Most of them have more $ into them than they ever sell for so pretty typical. If it's a home resto it could be done for that price easy and there's quite a few guys who build from home for pennies and look just as good as a $40-60g shop resto when done lol
