Thanks, I will check that out. Studs at GM Parts direct are about $8 each, seems like a bit much.

Re: 1970 c20 l9h 6l90e

I have decided to use an in-tank pump with the factory tank behind the seat. I am going to do something similar to what Phill has done in the following thread, post 21

http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...5&postcount=21

It is a Tanks Inc. TBA-4 fuel pump assembly which has been modified for the 67-72 behind the seat tank.

I have read too many stories of loud pumps or pump failure on inline pumps vs in tank pumps that I decided I am not going to cut corners to make it easier or save a buck because it sounds like it's not worth it in the long run and the only reason I wanted to do inline was to preserve the behind the seat tank and I don't think I would have saved a buck with an inline pump anyways.

Re: 1970 c20 l9h 6l90e

If anyone else is planning on using the Tanks Inc TBA-4 fuel pump, don't forget the mounting plate and gasket which is sold separately.

Tanks Inc Part Number: 3TR - Threaded Mounting Ring 6 Hole 3-1/4" Diameter
Tanks Inc Part Number: 3G - 6 Hole Cork Gasket 3-1/4" Diameter
OR
Tanks Inc Part Number: 3G-N - 6 Hole Neoprene Gasket 3-1/4" diameter

I am guessing the mounting plate does not come with mounting hardware and I will have to buy that from the hardware store.
