307 was the standard V8 and the 350 was optional.

WOW, guess I have seen a lot of optional 1970 trucks and even 1969 trucks
 . Or they were not 350's but 307's. Anyhow, should not be a 283.Of course someone could have changed it to a 283 I guess.
