http://blog.caranddriver.com/jeep-ch...vibe-anywhere/
I really like the chief, the dash is cheesy but overall I like it. the command car is nice too, except the r3sp3ct letters and the bottle opener on the pass. side, lol |

Re: anybody see the new jeep concept?
I really like it! I always wondered why companies didn't use old plans and reproduce old vehicles. I think it would be a very lucrative idea, it would drive the price of the originals down though... I think jeep gets it though.

That style of front grill has always been a favorite of mine. I'm digging this concept vehicle! A friend of mine when I was a teenager had a J10 with that type front end - lots of fond memories of that truck. It seemed so unstoppable back then!

Re: anybody see the new jeep concept?
Now that IMHO is the best rendition of a retro-design vehicle I have seen yet from any brand.
Yes, the Challengers, Chargers, Mustangs, and Camaros have made an attempt, some better than others... But that Jeep nails the old school look! There is actually some CHROME on that thing! LOL! And I'm not even what you would all a Jeep fan.

Re: anybody see the new jeep concept?
For sure! I don't think the new "throwbacks" look al, that good, the challenger looks close, the charger, no, just no. 4 doors? Really? This jeep is sweet! And that's coming from a guy who hates new cars. I would drive it! Only thing that would make it better would be a convertible like a blazer! Oooo yeah...

Re: anybody see the new jeep concept?
And they have kept the look going since they introduced it. The charger has changed and now they just changed it again. I just noticed the jeep is only 5 lug, I don't know about that. I guess I'm used to 8 lug 3/4 tons

Re: anybody see the new jeep concept?
I love everything about it, except being a Dodge
I don't think that'll happen. In fact, quite the opposite. I believe most Mopar Jeep owners aren't even aware of the classics and if these are made it will turn heads towards the old J-models sending prices up

Re: anybody see the new jeep concept?
They sure did. My buddy had a Wagoneer with a 327/TH400. They even went with GM's 6-lug pattern
