1967 Chevy Suburban Custom 1/2 questions...
Hi All,
My buddy has a 67 Chevy Suburban Custom. It is a 1/2 ton, with all three bench seats, all still have original upholstry. It is in the shop getting a repaint. My questions are about what type of rims and hup caps would have come on this? It does have all chome (trim, front and rear bumper) listed on the glovebox door as well as the custom appearance option. Also, the burb is factory red, and appears to have a white roof. I have never seen a burb with a white roof, does anyone have pictures of such a paint job on a burb? Where does the white paint stop in the back? I am assuming that it stops at the bottom of the rear rain gutter drip rail. Thanks... Here is a picture of it before it went into the shop!! Running boards are gone, and he wants to get rid of the rims and put the correct rims back on. Last edited by John Fabris; 02-05-2004 at 03:42 PM. |

I've seen two different schemes on burbs with white tops. Both have the white only above the drip rail, not on the pillars. One scheme has the white extending down the back, including the hatch but not the tailgate. The other scheme stops at the seam above the hatch.

Krazy, it is not a 50th, but it is a pretty cool panel, 3/4 ton with 327, 4 speed. When he is ready to get rid of it, it comes to me!! I actually want the burb, but he knows what it is and will not get rid of it.
