help with 4WD chassis measurements

Can someone with a 4WD suburban verify that the front mounting strip for the 2nd row seat sits just 1/2" above the frame rails? Thanks!

I've got a '69 2WD that I'm trying to finish the dual exhaust work on, and I'm having the devil of a time finding pre-bent 2.25" pipe to go over the trailing arms and rear axle. LMC sells dual kits for 2WD pickups, but only the 4WD suburban. Since I'm running an LT1 engine, I'd have to modify the front part of the exhaust setup anyway. I have a junk '71 2WD pickup nearby and it looks like the only difference as far as exhaust routing is that it has much more clearance above the trailing arms. You can see there is only 5" down from the seat mounting strip to the top of the trailing arm on my 2WD.

If the 4WD models only have that 0.5" clearance at that point on the frame, then there must be an exit difference because of the leaf springs. Does anybody have a pic of their pipe routing around the leaf springs?

Thanks again,

Ty
