Katzkin leather seats.

Has anyone bought from Katzkin? Would like to know if we could set up a group buy and save some $.

Re: Katzkin leather seats.

I put a set of Katzkin leather seats in my 11 GMC. However, it was cheaper for me to go to my upholsterer and have him order them and let him install them, than it was to order them direct. I did a light grey with a dark grey inset in the seat and back.

Re: Katzkin leather seats.

I hadn't thought about this option but I HATE my cloth seats. How much does a mid like this cost? They make nice stuff!

Re: Katzkin leather seats.

there is a writ-up in this month's issue of "Truckin", about a change out of leather seat covers. That might be an angle to look into, also.

Re: Katzkin leather seats.

I am a Katzkin dealer in MS if anyone need a set. Most kits cost me around $855 then you would have pp 3% and shipping if interested. You can do different colors and different color of thread also.

Re: Katzkin leather seats.

I think I've bought a couple sets from you engiaruph...

I did them in my 2011 Extended cab and 2004 Suburban (both since sold). Not the cheapest option but great quality and can be done in a weekend at home with patience and band-aids: The metal from the seat frames is not nice to fingers. 2011 Black was a cloth to leather upgrade and the 2004 was a kid filled 200k mile interior redo.

I pulled the seats in the 2011 since they were manual and left them in the burb since there was a lot of wiring to mess with. Easier to do out of the truck for sure but not too terrible in the truck. You'll need basic tools, a heat gun, patience, and the willingness to trim brand new leather with a razor!

Here's a pic of my 2011 black with grey suede inserts and red contrast stitching.
