Re: K50 Crew Cab Cummins Truck
So, is it going to be based on a Suburban with a C50 doghouse on it's frame or a C50 frame or...?
It's such a great looking project. Lots or work, but so worth it for the result. Have fun!!

Re: K50 Crew Cab Cummins Truck
Final fitment on the k-50 body work, should start looking like a normal truck pretty soon. Wait did I say normal looking? lol. I also textured a set of the air conditioning vents to better match the console and interior that's going in it. Here are a few pictures of both.

Re: K50 Crew Cab Cummins Truck
Ok, did you guys really think I was going to be satisfied with air shocks? I think this will do, besides our motto here at Rtech fabrications is, "We Build TRUCKS to the Truck Things".

Re: K50 Crew Cab Cummins Truck
This is the rolling chassis for the k 50 crew cab. I just switched out the dually axles for single wheel 1 ton axles.

Re: K50 Crew Cab Cummins Truck
What do you guys use for a front axle? I'd assume a Dana 60 is to narrow. Rockwell?

Re: K50 Crew Cab Cummins Truck
Well, I'm using cold rolled 1/2" flat bar for the brackets to hold this air tank on The Duke. Yeah I don't think it's going to fall off.
