Re: K50 Crew Cab Cummins Truck

Yes, we are planning on making it the debut event. Everything we're doing at this point is to make the brothers truck show. We have many other truck shows schedule but that's the most important one to us.

Re: K50 Crew Cab Cummins Truck

I hope this is not a dumb question, but will this thing be trailered to the shows? You certainly think big.

Tricky question to answer. Yes we will be trailering it. Our motto here at Rtech Fabrications is " we build trucks to do truck things". In order to preserve the paint and any possible damages that could occur while driving it to the further away shows, we are going to be trailering it. Keep in mind this is my personal vehicle that will be daily driven once we're done showing it. When I drove the drill sergeant down to Phoenix a couple years ago, by the time I got there I had a lot of ships in the grill section as well as a broken windshield. That's a long drive from Hayden Idaho. For any of the closer shows to us we will drive it. LOL, one thing for sure, if our tow vehicle breaks down, at least I'll have a spare one in tow.

Still amazes me how BIG this truck is. Those 40" tires are starting to look like 35 's

Nice work Randall. Will the truck ever be coming to the mid west for any shows or anything?

Looks like the closest will be Texas for Goodguys and Lone Star Throwdown. You are always welcome to come to Randall's Roundup on July 16th in Hayden Idaho

Amazing truck! Slim chance I make it to LST, but if I make it, I'll be sure to stop and say hello.

Re: K50 Crew Cab Cummins Truck

Note to self. Install buzzer on bed control switch. It's really bad when you drain two batteries completely down. Apparently I left the controls switch for the bed up and down, on the down position for about 3 days.

Where did you get the vents on the sides of the hood?

Those came stock on C40-80's that had big blocks in them, no vents on hood is I6 or Small block, one vent (pass side I believe) is a 366 and 2 is a 427 as it was explained to me once

Re: K50 Crew Cab Cummins Truck

Here are a few current pictures of the K50 crew cab. It drives like a brand new truck, maybe even better. Headliner is getting installed right now and this beast will be ever so close to being finished.
