Mustang2 front clip
Is it possible to fit discs from something like a 74 camaro even if it means changing the bearings?

I think guys used to use 72 Chevelle/Monte Carlo disks but would have to hunt down the info.
If memory serves right you had to use very thin nuts on the spindles to get the cotter key in. You have to change the bearings and seals too http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Bearin...g-II,9814.html With the right parts numbers you could chase them down there though.

The 11" brake kits are pretty cheap considering how much hassle they save you and you can order them with the chevy bolt pattern.

That is true and for us it is an easy way out but when you live in the UK and have to pay about twice for shipping than you pay for the item you are buying you make an effort to figure out how to do it in an economical fashion with locally sourced pieces.
It isn't that hard to figure out what bearings and seals you need to do the swap by matching the measurements of the spindle and the measurements of the hubs. A guy an cheat on that by getting the measurements for the MII bearings and seal and the measurements for the Chevelle Bearings and Seal and going to the bearing and seal books. A 76 Mustang II takes : Outer wheel bearing: A12 bearing set cone bore 0.866 bearing cone = LM12749 inner wheel bearing either A13 with a cone bore of 1.377 / 34.861 mm or A5 with a cone bore of 1.375 /34.925 mm depending on the spindle. Seal is a National 6815 with a 2.500 or 63.55 mm id 72 Chevelle: You need the 72 style instead of the 73 style because it isn't as deep front to back as the 73 is. outer bearing set is A2 with an od on the race of 2.480 Inch race number LM11910 That gives you the od. inner set is A6 with a cup outside diameter of 2.328 Inch race or cup number is LM67010 Seal is a National 8705S Housing Bore (In): 2.400 Inch Housing Bore (mm): 60.96mm Outside Diameter (In): 2.405 Inch Outside Diameter (mm): 61.09mm Width (In): 0.230 Inch Width (mm): 5.84mm Then it is on to mixing and matching. Brake rotor number cross over by a few brands. Brand:RAYBESTOS Part Number(s):5100RGS ProductName:Front Brake Rotor Cross Interchange Parts Factory Number WAGNER BD60232 RAYBESTOS 5100 AIMCO 5514 PARTS MASTER 60232 RAYBESTOS 5100R CARQUEST 5514

I'm good with what you're saying but don't you still have to buy the custom bracket that bolts to the MII spindle to take the GM caliper for the 11" rotors? I suppose having only those shipped could save some money if you can buy them separate.

You have 11" rotors on the truck already or sitting there to install? If you have 11" rotors on the truck already, why the need for different rotors?

Any idea what the rotors are from? Have you considered having a machinist redrill the bolt circle?

Looking at the back of the rotors there's gussets in way so it wouldn't be possible
