16" Tire Recommendations C10

So ole rusty needs a set of tires, currently it's on LT235/85R16 on 16" steel wheels (6 lug). There is a correction gear on the transmission end of the speedo cable so that it seems to read correctly on the dash.

It's 2WD with an open diff and will not be used off road. It also has the G70 rear leaf springs option instead of rear coils. I might tow with it (nothing too heavy, a Hobie cat on a trailer or utility trailer and it has the class III hitch on it already.

Wondering whether I should stick with 235/85R16 or change to 265/75R16 which is wider but with the same circumference.

Would street handling improve with the 75s versus the 85s (it does seem a little vague, but that could be anything at this point)?

Is there a better selection/pricing in the 75s or 85s?

Anyway, thanks in advance for any assistance.
