1969 gmc c10 lights not working
The truck that I'm working on is my late father-in-laws truck and has been setting for 10+ years and I'm trying to get it back on the road. It just made me sick to just see it sit in the woods. On to the problem at hand, I can get the passenger side parking light to work and the drivers side tail light to work also. The dash lights will work but are very dim and the inside dome light will work also. The turn signals will not work but I can get the Hazzard lights to work on dashboard only. I'm getting fire to fuse box but not the headlight plug-ins...any help would be greatly appreciated

I would check your grounds and replace the Turn signal flasher

The floor dimmer switch can be causing some of your problems as well. I had many issues with my '69 GMC and all were fixed when I replaced the floor dimmer.

Re: 1969 gmc c10 lights not working
All of my headlight issues seem to be the dimmer switch, the aftermarket switches just aren't a quality product.

Re: 1969 gmc c10 lights not working
The dimmer switch fixed the headlight issue. The signal flasher fixed the turn signals. I still have a drivers side running light and passenger brake light out but I think that is a bulb issue.
Ps just got the truck running this evening. |

I am glad to hear that you got at least most of your issues fixed.
It looks like you made some upgrades. |
