92' K1500 Scottsdale Manual Conversion PROJECT
So i wnet 4x4 one day and blew my 700r4 out of my 92' K1500 scottsdale, went online to buy a used one and found a perfect one but after I got the guy to check the serial numbers and knew exactly what he had he raised it form 350 to 650 as he was advised to by someone, so I found an 3 speed GM Muncie SM465 Transmission which comes with Shifter rods, Bell housing, Clutch & pressure plate, Fly Wheel, master & slave cylinder's, Attached is a New Process Transfer Case ?model? also with Shifter, Dash and section of floor pan, v belt water pump, starter and a few other nick naks. Guy was going to use for 4X4 Van conversion! never did, it's out of a 85' has been warehoused in a crate for 10+ years. For $500 Gonna be interesting Ill post pics soon

Re: 92' K1500 Scottsdale Manual Conversion PROJECT
my 92 K1500 5.7l 350 ECLB has a 700r4 in it what complications am I most likely going to have with installing the Muncie SM465 besides the the auto to standard conversion usuals like the clutch and and master and slave cylinders and shifter cut outs.

Re: 92' K1500 Scottsdale Manual Conversion PROJECT
Not sure what year the combo is from, but if it was for an 80s van, possibly be from a truck from that era. It will work but not a bolt in deal. That transfer case is passenger drop, you need a driver drop. Also the trans shifter location is different front to back....
