Question regarding hub cap sizing

Hi all - i am new to the forum and to chevy trucks (im a vw guy). I am working on breathing life back into a 1972 C10 custom longbed pickup my uncle used to use as a shop truck back in the day. It is all original and has 68k on the clock (sitting for 20 years now). Its a v8 (i think 325?) 3 on the tree. Please excuse me for not knowing anything about these but im excited to save this thing from withering away.

I was wondering if the old dog dish hubcaps that come on the early 50s and maybed 60s trucks would fit on a 72 stock steel 15" rim. I dont know if its a one size fits all deal with the stock steel rims with hub caps. I think the size of the caps that fit this wheel are 10" or so"??

This is the hubcap i really like:

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to using this site for a crutch when i run into issues. I will post pics as soon as i can get them online.
