new tail light harness
I haven't easily found anywhere to get a new tail light harness. anyone have any info? Mine has had trailer wiring spliced into it and Id like to just get a new whole harness.
With that being said, where does it plug into the front of the truck at? Wheres the next junction up from the tail lights? |

Re: new tail light harness
American Autowire and M&H Electric Fabricators both offer rear lamp harnesses for 1977 GM trucks. There are various options depending on your truck's wheelbase and bed type.
The rear light wiring is in 2 sections. There is an intermediate harness that runs from the bulkhead connector on the driver side of the firewall, down along the frame, and ends in a connector near the rearmost frame cross member. From there, the rear lamp harness contains the wiring that runs to the individual lights. |

Now to decide which one to use, M&H is a lot cheaper. |
