Utility Bed on Slammed AD
What do you think of this? I've seen some pics of utility beds on 67-72 trucks that have been modded and they have their own kind of cool look.
I'm building an AD on an S10 chassis and expect it to sit fairly low, with hopes of doing bags on it in the future after everything else is done. I've been trying to envision what a slammed patina AD with some 18 Torq Thrusts would look like with a utility bed on it. Some pics I’ve found that I like. I do like the last bed shown the most where it's more bed height and not too tall. I do have a pair of shorty running boards and I think if I got the bottom of the bed even with the bottom of the running board to where it's sitting nice and low it could look pretty cool. Any thoughts? Seen any ADs like I'm trying to envision? I'm bringing this up cause I recently ran across one on CL thats a six foot bed. http://kansascity.craigslist.org/pts/5011096326.html |

Re: Utility Bed on Slammed AD
You would want a period correct Bell telephone bed to have it be right.
Here is one a member posted a couple of years ago.

Re: Utility Bed on Slammed AD
It's kinda cool in its own way but i wouldn't take that over a regular one. Are you in need of a bed?

I'm not sure that the photo didn't originate with you Solidaxel. I found it in the classifieds from a couple of years ago when someone used it for a "one like this?" example.
