Bag mount question - Front

This is a pic of a members truck that I borrowed - couldn't the bottom cup be cut on an angle to help align the bag? Or is this just the common way the bags sit?

Yes, the bottom cup should be slightly angled, but I think that picture was taken without any weight on the suspension. So, under normal load, it won't be that bad. Ideally, you want the top and bottom bag plates to be parallel at ride height.

Slammed67 is correct.......those are my cups...they are angled...and the suspension was hanging with no weight on it....at ride height, the bag sits straight....just clearing that up...

hey, i was wondering do those cups mount on top of the spring detents?? i havent got mine in the mail yet but wondering how they work. i have djm control arms, and slam bag rs82's, the 82's seem kinda big like they might rub on the arms, do you think i can shave a little off. any help with how the bottom cup mounts would be great!!

the bottom cup sits in the spring pocket of the A-arm....there's a length of all-thread that runs through the arm and bolts the cup down so it doesn't move around.....on these trucks...it's easier to put a plate for the top mount then build a cup to fit in the space...

You don't really need the all thread on the bottom cup, in fact you're the first one I've heard of using it on 73-87's.
