Headers for LS3 in a 59 with TCI ICS

I have tried two different sets, today the Thorley 324Y, nothing seems to allow a good setup for the steering shaft. Has anybody done this setup and found a set that works?

Re: Headers for LS3 in a 59 with TCI ICS

I've got some TSP truck headers on a 5.3 in a 57 and clearance is decent. https://www.texas-speed.com/p-3410-t...evygmc-v8.aspx these are the ones I have but if I had to do it again, these look like they'd give me better clearance. https://www.texas-speed.com/p-4150-t...8-2wd-4wd.aspx I'm not sure when I'll be in San Antonio but I'd let you bolt it up if you're interested.

Thanks T-Tung, those look similar to the ones I tried first http://www.summitracing.com/parts/ps...make/chevrolet

Just trying to make the steering shaft less complicated, but looks like I will need three u-joints and a support bearing.

Let me know when you are in SA and I will show you what I got.

That's what I'm going to have to do. They have some mid-length headers that I'm sure would work but I wanted full length headers. How about these? https://www.texas-speed.com/p-4164-d...-use-only.aspx

Hard to tell from the angle/pictures but it looks like the ones I have may give you a lot more room. They're swept back quite a bit more from what it looks like. Hard to tell though

TTung how low do yours hang below the frame? I need a set for my little brothers truck but it sits pretty low.

Kinda low but not terrible. The driver's side hangs a little lower for the crossover.
