Body mount bushings
What the heck just happened? I replaced all of the body mount bushings on my wife's 57 and now the door hits the fender, steering is tight and the brake pedal rubs the firewall hole.
Salways something I guess.

Sounds like the front was shot or wrong and the new added just enough height to tilt the cab causing your problems. Try using a thinner shim. If I remember right the front use all metal parts to keep the alignment of cab, fenders and hood, while the back is rubber to allow for some movement and damper noise.
