Sparks flying under hood. lol
rofl yes the title is bad enough.
I dropped the cresent wrench between the block and the manifold on the Passengers side. Nearest the cab. And it was like the 4th of july in there. Wtf did i do? lol And did i probly damage something? Everytime i tryed to move the cresent wrench to knock it off whatever it was stuck on mad sparks flew. |

You tried to weld the wrench to the starter is what you did. Disconnect the negative battery lead and pry the wrench free. Damage...??? you will have to see, most likely only to youre head when you jumped back and hit it on the hood.

Any time your working on your truck, disocnect the batery just so things like that wont happen.... Cant say i always follow that rule but its a good one to follow

you shorted the positive battery cable directly to ground. you're very fortunate the battery didnt blow up if it landed on the + terminal on the starter.

Sounds like time to shell out some bucks for replacement parts unless you got lucky.........

heheeh....sorry have to laugh....I shot a wrench about 5 feet away and burned a hole in it on my old Formula when undoing the Y Pipe haha Wrench slipped out and hit the starter lol Luckily it shot the other direction...put a nice hole in the wrench!
