removable hardtop

hey guys i was up at a shop today checking out my buddies yoda project and eyed up a cab in the back 40 under a tree, turns out the son of the shop owner make it into a convertible with a removeable hardtop, it was done real nice, the seams are hidden well, it has a frenched anntenna too where the gas tank hole used to be, i want it .. no project for it but i allready am eyeing a 68 chevy front clip, i just need a box now and a 4x4 rolling frame.. its fun to dream isnt it

There are kits available to do this. I helped my buddy doo it on his 78 Chevy Luv that has a 350 Shoe horned into it. It works pretty slick.

On the Luv it's such a lite roof it's no big deal to take off by yourself. Not sure it would be as easy on a Fullsize.

sorry, ill try and get pics next time i go up, grim-im sure it is heavy but not as bad as my old landcruiser hardtop, now that weighed a ton
