Chrome Vinyl Wrapping Grill
I have the standard 1987 painted single headlight grill in my 1987 K30 Crewcab, that came from the factory. I've always liked the look of a chrome grill on a truck and thought about having the plastic one, along with the headlight surounds chromed. But to have something chromed is not going to be cheap.
Then it came to mind about Vinyl Wrapping the grill/headlight surounds in a chrome vinyl wrap. Has anyone seen this done? How did it look and hold up over time if so? Enjoy, Rideair |

Re: Chrome Vinyl Wrapping Grill
I did a small job of vinyl wrap on my grill moldings. It is tedious on getting all the bubbles out.

Re: Chrome Vinyl Wrapping Grill
There is a new thing out now,Its basicly water based spray on chrome.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YkdDB8JzblU Since its water based and spray on it should be cheaper then real chrome. |
