72 C-10 Grille

I am currently rebuilding a 72 C-10 swb and I am wondering about my grille. It is a stock grille with no dents that is very dull and may need a lil work. My question is should I just buy a new grille or send mine off and have it redone? Is an aftermarket grille the same? If i should send it off, where would anyone recommend sending it to? Thanks in advance

Re: 72 C-10 Grille

buy a new one and send me yours…
Obviously just kidding… If you are doing a high quality resto I would check the quality of a repop. I'm not familiar with restoring one…
I'm sure someone out here can point you in the right direction...

Talking Re: 72 C-10 Grille

I have an Idea, not exactly a "Restoration" of a grille, but check out this website for a chrome "Substitute" it's a paint, but by gosh, it's as close to a mirror shine as I have ever seen! I'm considering doing this to my grill as well.
Check out the videos and see for yourself! I'm sure this stuff isn't cheap either, but, it's something you or I can do at home, and rather easy too.
Enjoy!
