96 silverado off road build.

hey im new to this i have a 96 silverado 5.7l 5speed 4x4. that ive had sence i was 17 and have replace the motor, tranny, transfercase, front end, rear end, breaks and drives shafts. and now looking to do a straight axle swap. i started a 63 c10 build and making it from 4wd to 2wd and have a nice set of 75 chevy 1/2 axles and 6'' lift springs that i want to put under my 96 silverado i was wondering if anyone had any suggestions and if they know of a good straight axle swap kit and transfercase kit to bolt up my 70s to 80s 205 tcase to my 96 mg5 5speed tranny.

here are some pics of the truck. the first 2 are of the day i got the truck when i was 17 and the 3rd is what it looks like now with out my soft topper

Cool project! I would recommend the Off Rod Designs SAS kit, it's bolt on however, you're going to need smaller lift springs from the front, as almost all kits add 3-4 inches of lift in the front brackets alone. Also, you'd be better off getting a Ford front axle and leaving your transfer case stock. (You can swap everything from the knuckles out to make it chevy 6lug if you get a 77.5-79 F250 Dana 44 axle) You're going to run into electrical, shifter, and other issues with that 205 transfer case. Look around on Pirate 4x4 for more details.
