Factory wheel on Van tilt column

I got the van tilt mocked in and am trying to mount the stock deluxe steering wheel and it wont fit!! The mounting shaft is the same size but the plastic ring on the bottom of the wheel is hitting the turn signal switch. Am i doing something wrong or will this wheel not fit.

how much is it hitting ? maybe you can file it down some take a bit off of it and keep test fitting it till it works ? just a thought . as you do need that plastic ring it holds the center bearing in place and also is your turn signal cancel

Tilt wheels use a different cancellation ring. Some are flat and others have an indention in the center to allow the steering wheel to go down.
