Best Mag Cleaner?
Hey guys, What do you recommend for cleaing your mags? I have a set of aluminum Center Line Helcats, and want to get them clean, even removing the water spots. I use Mother's metal, wheel polish, but what do you use for the shine? I like Mothers, because like Blue Magic (no one around here carries it anymore), it leaves a layer of silicone behind. So what do you guys use?

Do yourself a favor, and try Master Formula . I have owned more billet wheels than I care to count, so you know I HATE polishing billet wheels
 I have used just about every brand of polish on the market, and this is the best I have found so far. It takes the least amount of effort to get the best results....

NTRUX did you get yours at the Goodguys swapmeet? I got the Master Formula polish and the sealer. They work real well. Seems like less work than blue magic or mothers to get alot more shine....

rigo, no I bought it at TX Heatwave. I saw them at another swap meet, but thought it was just another snake oil pitch. My buddy with the Rambler convinced me it was the real deal. It's the best I have found so far.
Has anyone used the sealer? I bought it too, but haven't ever tried it. Maybe I should give it a shot too...

i bought a bottle of the sealer also....instructions on it were strange...you mix equal amount of the polish and sealer, apply, and buff to a shine....works good just don't know length of time that the sealer lasts....

I use Wenol
I like detail so I use a small buffing wheel. Use the red to clean and take out blemishes, and then the blue to seal it. It lasts a nice while, just more work.

Hey if it maes the shine last twice as long, I'll play the game. They guy demo'ed how it repels water, so I assume it works. Next time I do my wheels, I'll try it and report back....

No and's, if's, or but's about it the only one to use is Busch, the sell cleaner,polish, and sealer. They also have everything inbetween to take awesome care of aluminum wheels. You can find online or at some truck shows. By far the best , honestly, I know for a fact I have tried at least 15-20 different kinds of polish and this stuff makes mothers look like you just sprinkled some sand on your wheels and tried to polished them.

I have to second that busch is the best,I have a 25 foot enclosed trailer that I bought from a friend when he owned it it sat out all the time,it is a 97 model,so when I bought it in 2001 the aluminun trim was all dull and tarnished,used the busch and it looked brand new,and trust me I have tried everything before from wenal to mothers to eagle one,the busch polish is buy far the best made,I use it on all my wheels and aluminum parts and in my opinion nothing beats it.

I will 3rd the Busch polish.The Man that makes Busch's polish also does,or did, polishing for a living.I used their polish on my aluminum flatbed.

Master Formula and Busch are both great products. I've had both...I'm hooked on Busch right now.
