1969 C10 292 swb F-bed $600?

There is a 1969 C10 short wheel base with a junk flat bed 292? 3 speed on colum converted, decent body needs paint and some minor body restoration, had some, has all coil suspension and drum brakes, it runs rough probally needs tune up. For $600 locally I want to buy, is this a good deal???? I want to get a short bed stepside for it anybody got a run on one, could settle for a fleet side for the time, i guess. Probally throw a 340HP 307 and a 4spd saginiaw in it.


I have a 1976 C30 C&C, 292 runs good, leaks a little oil, 4spd granny low, coustom flatbed, ps, 4 wheel disc hydro-boost power brakes, 4.56 posi 10.5 rearend, nice white spoke "wagon wheels" with AT tires 90% tread, body is rough needs repaired usual places. This would be for sale after i got the '69 going, if anyone is intested let me know
