LS1 engine swap

I have a 87 GMC sierra classic with a 5.0L TBI engine and a 700r4 trans. What mods would I have to do to install an LS1 engine and 4L60 trans?

Heres a few sites that might help you if noone else can supply any info. A friend of mine is looking at doing this to a 86 he has.

www.LS1truck.com www.ls1tech.com www.gm-trucks.com and maybe www.fullsizechevy.com

Good luck on the swap and keep us posted on what you find. Oh and welcome to the board.

Brad

Look up 68LSS1 on the board. He's doing one for his '68. He may be able to add some input.
