My project 71' cheyenne K10
Proud new owner of a 71' Cheyenne k10. 283ci from a 67 pickup, th350, np205 and 3.07 gears front and rear. paid 1400.00 bucks from a local guy and it has very little rust. a little in the usual spots. cab corners. not even really on the rockers. Runs fairly well down the road. cuts out if you stomp on it but ill address that in a few days. How' I do?

I think you got a great deal. And a marker light cab to boot!! A GREAT deal. Looks real nice, congrats - and, of course, we must have more pics. Welcome to the forum!

Re: My project 71' cheyenne K10
Thanks guys. I am very pleased with it thus far. been looking for one I could afford for a long time. I will post many more pics. be ready for your face to melt The engine is a rebuilt 283ci out of a 67 pickup as the orig. 350 died a few years ago with over 500k on it. man those 283s can rev to the moon.

Wow, that was one hell of a deal, for you! Not so much the seller. He must not watch any of the auction shows like Mecum or Barrett Jackson lol
Congrats on a very nice truck! In comparison, I now feel like a sucker for paying $1500 for my 72 K10 rust bucket. Oh, and thanks for posting the price. Actually make the post worthwhile
