Re: 67-72 nos stepside tailgate chain covers
Mike, Do you have the part number for these? Those appear to be dull gray to me and if so they are actually 58-66 GM fleetside chain covers as the 1947-1987 step sides were black ribbed from GM. I have a correct pair of NOS GM black stepside covers I would trade if these are gray and he really wants the NOS GM stepside longer length black pair. Thanks, Mark

Re: 67-72 nos stepside tailgate chain covers
Mike and Jerry. I checked and according to the 1970 printed GM parts book, the 54-70 stepside covers are black and 1 1/16th by 13" long part # 3810750
58-66 fleetside covers is silver 1 1/4 by 9 inches long. part # 3753038 I have a pair of the 3810750 if Jerry wants to trade and maybe before you send these out or if he decides not to buy I will buy the gray ones from you and send you a money order. PM sent. Thanks, Mark

Re: 67-72 nos stepside tailgate chain covers
Mike doesn't matter to me. I'm not building an all orignal truck. So the black ones will work for me. Or the silver ones either way I don't care. So let me know what's going on. Or if your like me and not sure. I never sent out money order yet. But going to Monday. Sorry for the delay but was trying to see if everybody was on same page. I'm not sure so let me know. Jerry
