Dude if this is the gauges that are in the truck now, they are not Autometer. They are GM originals with white face overlays.

gauges

Sorry that i wasn't clear on that. Yes I made light grey overlays for the original gauges, the ones under the dash are the autogages.

I'd really like to sell it as a whole deal. If it comes down to it I may have to part it out and I'll let you know. I'm going to wait a week or two and hopefully find a buyer.

There are a few things that I forgot to list:

Polyurethane Body Bushings (three of the cab mounts aren't on yet, those bolts are stubborn)
A holley red electric fuel pump and fuel pressure regulator/summit gauge.
The LED toggle switches control the fuel pump, TCC lock up, and Fan relay.


Again, keep an eye on this post, if I don't get an offer within the next couple of weeks I'll start taking it apart.

I'd like this to go to someone who has some passion towards these trucks.

Feel free to ask any other questions.

Question Do You Still Have the Inline Six Engine?

Everyone always pulls out the 250 six and puts in a V-8...I did the opposite, I repainted an '84 body and had the seller yank out the V-8 so I could put a newly rebuilt 250 from a rusty '78 into it. Before the rebuild the 250 had almost 200000 miles on it...these engines last forever and I swear by them.

The '84 had the 250 and 3 speed column shift originally. It also originally had power steering, so I am looking for a power steering pump and mounting bracket, since those were gone when I got the "rolling stock." Chances are that your 1984 had power steering, so let me know if you can help.

The other thing I need is the 1984 bowtie emblem from the front grille, that was missing, too. I am referring to the emblem insert that glues to the bowtie backing on the grille. If you still have a complete grille, I will purchase that if you intend to part out the vehicle.

Essentially I am 98% done with my project, these are the last two things I need to do to finish it.

sorry, the 250 is long gone. It had a crack in the exhaust manifold and several bolts were broken off. Could have melted them out but then i'd have to mess with re tapping the holes.

If i see any around here i'll let you know,
