Gauge pointers
Is there anyway to replace the pointer on a guage? I was repainting my guages on the 82, when the temp guage's needle disintegrated when I touched the base of it. It just crumbled to pieces. The guage worked fine, just no pointy.
I know I could add an aftermarket guage under dash, but I'd like to keep the stock guages. The few places I've seen that sell replacements (LMC) seems kind of high. Thanks

what I would do is go to a u-pull-it type wrecking yard. find another gauge or pointer.

I think I have a dead temp gauge you can have. All I would ask for is shipping. PM me if interested.
