External Fuel pump?
Does anybody know what I can use to get fuel to my 5.3 LS? I am trying to still use the stock 82 c10 tank that I have, I would love to get the rear mounted tank but cant afford that at this time. I currently have external fuel pump, the brand I think is Holly. At least that is what it states on the bracket. I am having issues with gas pressure. I have heard so many different things. People here in my town say that the pressure should be 48psi at idle and some people tell me that it should be 55psi. The only time I get 55+psi is when I unhook the pressure regulator, if its connected its 48psi. I have been told that I might have a weak fuel pump. Or my pump is not strong enough. What do you all think or what set up are all you running for your 5.3

Re: External Fuel pump?
So the regulator is off of a corvette? I am guessing its also hooked up to vacuum? Why a corvette filter? What year? Thanks for the reply and I am sorry for all the stupid questions.

Re: External Fuel pump?
No your thinking wrong on the filter..the "corvette style" filter/regulator is a self contained inline all in one unit..it has a supply in and a return line on one end and the outlet on the other...no vacuum..mine is a wix and I don't remember the part number.
