1980 2wd Blazer
Hi everyone, I am new to the forum and am looking for some info. My parents have a 1980 2wd Blazer that I am considering buying from them to do a build. It is an all original 2 owner trailering special in excellent condition. only real rust is rear wheel wells. My question is, how rare is this and what would it be worth the way it sits?

Hard to say from the pics, the only thing that stands out is the rear ride height looks pretty low. Why is it draggin tail? And welcome!

Re: 1980 2wd Blazer
Thanks Bruiser, I am not sure why the rear seems low in the pictures. It looks normal standing beside it and rear springs seem fine. What else would I need to show to get an approximate value/selling price?

Re: 1980 2wd Blazer
Unless those pictures are crazy misleading, it does look like the rear is quite a bit lower than the front. Did they pull something heavy with it often? I think getting as many pictures as possible along with how many miles is on it would help someone on here get you close to a value. Its really hard to value anything from three pictures. That being said it looks cool, I love that color combo and interior.

Re: 1980 2wd Blazer
Any 70-82 2wd blazer is rare in my mind.
Since you know the owner and prior history of THIS blazer,... I say that makes it worth more. I'd love to own it. Depending on the condition of the drivetrain,... I would say $2500-$5500 by just looking at the posted pics.

Re: 1980 2wd Blazer
Thanks for the info. I think the pictures are somewhat misleading. When parked on level ground, the rear is slightly lower but not as bad as these pics look. There is just under 145000km on the blazer. It has a 350 that runs excellent as well. I will try to get some more pics
