86 fuel tank question
Can I put a 87 sending unit in my 86 fuel tanks. I put a motor that the mechanical fuel hole is not there. If not what would be the best way for fuel system? Thanks

Re: 86 fuel tank question
You need the 87 tanks because they have the baffles for the electric in tank fuel pump. 87 tanks are cheap to buy new.

Re: 86 fuel tank question
Ok can I install a in tank pump on my 86 tank sending unit and put my 86 sending unit with a pump on it, in my 87 fuel tank? If not why wouldn't that work? Or do I have to put a 87 sending unit in it?

Re: 86 fuel tank question
I put a 87 sending unit with the pump in a 1980 tank. It works fine without the baffles.
