68 50th gold anniversery?

I know my 67-72 but havent really come across what makes a 50th anniversery. Okay, I got this truck that's solid gold, All the CST trim, AC 3274bbl, turbo 400. Deluxe interior. It is solid gold with the only white being between the grill trim on the very front. I was going to part it but if it's something special maybe I should fix it. I can email pics of it if you guys will PM me and I can forward the pic to you. I got it at a farm auction. A guy there wanted it for the motor and wanted the rest of it. We got it for $120 and spilt the cost in two. The bed is trashed. Most of the front clip is good. doors are good. Cabs needs rockers and all four cab corners. I am new to this forum but I really enjoy the quick response....

sounds like a 50th to me. only the gold 68's were considered the 50th anniversery. and the combo that it had, engine, tranny, interior, sounds like it is a winner. check the glove box too.

look for the 551 off white/glod paint code.
The int needs to be gold and white, and the body needs to have the paint job as seen above to be a 50th annv.
