I have been seriously considering a Vintage Air System. I just received their catalog and it looks real sweet. I think I'll pass on the install on this one though. I have a friend that put one in his '32 Ford that said he would do it for me. I know very little about installing A/C. I understand the concept, but that's a lot of cash if I screw it up.

Only real major mod was the deletion of the orig. POA valve and the addition on the FOT(fixed orafice tube).
I had to have someone weld an aluminium fitting on the inlet side of the evaporation core so I could add the FOT.I can't weld aluminium. The FOT replaces the function of the expansion valve that was in the orig. R12 system. The condenser is the same one used for the R12 system,in my case it's just a new one. They say a crossflow condenser is needed with R134 to get the same cooling effects of an R12 system. We'll see when I finally charge the system.
