First thing i did when i got the truck was order some new dual exhaust. I used a flowmaster 2.5 universal kit and bought some Flowmaster super 10s and bought some Hooker competition headers i built and welded the whole exhaust my self.

Yesterday i order Offroad designs dana 44 cross over steering. I am going with a 8 inch lift sky jacker lift kit and 37 14.50 r 16 maxxis creepy crawlers. I almost have enough money to buy the lift wheels and tires and I'm going with mickey thompson classic III 16x12 wheels. Sent off my knuckle to get machined and drilled and tapped for the crossover steering arm. Cant wait to get it lifted and drive to school gonna be the only kid at my school with a old truck!!!

Nice first truck. Even more impressive that you're in HS and wrenching on your own stuff.

Re: Finally got my first truck 1972 chevy k20
nice truck, that's going to be pretty tall once completed...
I like how it sits right now, just make sure it's a safe truck

Re: Finally got my first truck 1972 chevy k20
It costed me 520 dollars for the kit i had to get a 3inch block under the crossover steering arm because the steering drag link hit the leaf spring really don't like having that big block under the steering arm but off road design gave me some nice arp studs. Haven't drove it yet need to bleed the brakes and power steering then i will ill let u know when i drive it
