Any interest in tig welded transmission crossmembers?
I have considered make a batch of tranny crossmembers to sell, they would all be made to your specifications and all tig welded. I can also sell them raw or painted. I just want to know if there is much of a market if I sold them for less than the other ones out there. I have made several in the past, and most were 1x 2 rectangular tubing with 3/16 frame mounts and tranny mount. Give me some feedback, such as what a fair price would be, or even if you of people who would rather buy one than make it themselves. Thanks for any help.

Great offer. Keep in mind, at this point you're not even a supporting member of the forum. To sell here, you'll need to at least become a basic supporting member. And to sell multiples of items, vendor status. If this thread turns into a for sale thread it will be closed.

I think to get some decent feedback you are going to have to post some pics of a trans crossmember that you have fabricated.

Sadly I did not take any pictures, I have one in a 72 gmc I can try take pictures of but it is painted and very difficult to see the welds. Thanks for the input anyway.

Re: Any interest in tig welded transmission crossmembers?
This is bordering on a What's It Worth post and you haven't even shown any pics, it makes this kind of a pointless post. Also given that most all of the truck part companies have aftermarket crossmembers, yours would need to be at a way better price point and quality to really make it marketable.
At this point, being a non supporting member and this is really borderline on the rules, I am going to lock this. If you become a supporting member and want to reopen this thread, contact me or one of the Admins to reopen. Thanks for understanding.
