Picked up a another C10 Project.
I was up in Maine and drove by this old gem out in the field. My son was yelling at me to turn around. I pull up to an old barn and meet Leroy. We chat for awhile and come up with a very fair price. She is a V8 with a three on the tree. No bed. Cab is actually really solid for these parts. Cab corners and rockers are in great shape. Best part is, wife recommended I stop and talk to the farmer.

Congrats and that thing looks to be in great shape. Is this your project, you and the wife, or you and your son?

Nice. You never can tell when someone is finally ready to sell. It's always worth the 25 stops when they say "no, gonna fix that one up", when you finally get one to take home.

Re: Picked up a another C10 Project.
Had a chance to look at the frame of the 1963 and it was no good. I picked up this chassis pretty reasonably. It was off of some show truck long ago as the frame was painted a metallic blue. It is already covered to disk brakes and has power steering.

:Repaint the frame white and it will glow in the dark.

Re: Picked up a another C10 Project.
If that's the frame that's been sitting on CL the past month or two in Mass, you got a pretty good deal. I was thinking about going to check it out. I just can't figure out what direction I want to go with my 65, lower or 4x4. Now I have some competition for parts in Mass!

Yes it was the one on Craigslist. I might have a 1962 4x4 frame coming up in your interested. Have any parts your looking to get rid of?

If that chassis falls through I have a 65 GMC 127" wb roller. I'm down on the Cape
