IMO
Now take this as you will........but to complete the job correctly you will have to chrome it and Im not sure how scrap wood would hold up to that ...............so I suggest oak.

They sell chome tape that you can just wrap the wood up in. That would be sweet. Hard part would be getting the wing angle just right. The wrong angle and at 200MPH the truck would flip

woah man! you cant climb in the ring with ali because you think you can box! thats a serious performance mod, and should not be taken lightly. the simple act of bolting an wing (whatever material you choose) adds 700 RWHP! the wing is a great mod, only surpassed by stickers, which, as i'm sure we all know, add at least 1000 rwhp. proceed with caution

Quote:
You forgot about the blinker fluid & the high flow exhaust bearings!! No $hit tho, there is a guy running around here with a Mercury Marquis(around an 89) that is all riced out with the led squirters, 2x6 wooden wing painted silver(car is black), Yellow vinyl grafix down the side and yellow stripes down the hood across the roof & landau top and down the trucnklid, TWO of the polished Stainless Fart Pipes stickin out the back with 15" SPINNER hubcaps. The sad part is one of the rice clubs actually let him in as a member!

Use aluminim foil and wrap it up. Once your done be careful and take your time learning how to drive with all the added HP and torque.

Who needs nails or screws just go all out and use duct tape and liquid nails.......maybe even jb weld (for high horsepower applications)
