Re: Drums are all wore out
I had a 67 C10 a few years back and never had to replace any rivets when doing front drum brakes. Not sure if I'm missing something.
Are you by chance talking about the rivets that hold in the ball joints? Gary

Re: Drums are all wore out
10-4! Now I gotcha... wasn't aware of the rivets holding the drum on the hub.
I'm betting you won't need to replace them with anything. Just slide the new drum over the shoes and bolt up your rim. Gary

Re: Drums are all wore out
I never replaced mine just grinded the rivets off punched y them out of the hub and put the new drum on. I believe they were rivited so when you checked your brakes it forced you to remove the hub and check the wheel bearings at the same time.

Re: Drums are all wore out
Just click the grey box in "Additional Options" containing the text "Manage Attachments"
That will pop up a window - there are more boxes marked "Browse..." Click on one of those, it will pop up another window that lets you navigate to the folder on your computer or phone where your photo is stored Click on your photo, click the box marked "Open" Then click the box marked "Upload" and you are done attaching the photo You'll still need to click the box marked "Submit Reply" of course, but that'll do her! |
